We are a group of Canadians of Syrian origin who are united by our humanity, compassion and love of music. In organizing this concert, we hope to raise funds for various non-profit organizations which have been working diligently to provide humanitarian assistance to Syrians within Syria and beyond its borders.
The Canadian government has generously pledged to match any funds donated by Canadian individuals to approved Canadian charities before year-end.
Knowing that half of all Syrian refugees are women and children under the age of eighteen, we feel, as Canadians, that we must do more to help.
